Institutional intelligence for labour leaders.
UnionForge is a shared CBA intelligence and collaboration system for paramedic locals.
It puts collective agreements, wage grids, memorandums, interest and rights awards, and labour-board and H&S orders in one operational record—so a committee is not reconstructing the last round from a shared drive and whoever still has the PDF.
Cross-local read on language and outcomes is the point: locals stay independent at their own tables, but they are not bargaining in isolation.
Land Acknowledgement
UnionForge is built and run from Mississauga, in Peel Region — on the treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Huron-Wendat, and Wyandot Nations. These nations have inhabited and cared for this land since time immemorial, and they continue to do so.
This platform is not off the land because it is a website. The people who design and operate it, the electricity that keeps it running, and the paramedic work it exists to support all happen here. We benefit from that relationship, and we name it.
The name Mississauga is Anishinaabe. We are grateful to the Mississaugas of the Credit and to the many Indigenous people who live in Peel today.
Who It Is For
Labour strategy shouldn't rely on scattered PDFs, inbox archives, or unwritten history.
The platform equips local presidents, local leaders and executives, negotiators, researchers, and staff reps.
Presidents and executives use it for the whole local picture. Bargaining committees and negotiators use it for language, costing, and the book. Researchers and staff reps use it when the work stretches across many units.
Access is invite-only for authorized users at participating paramedic locals.
What You Can Do
Wages and grids
Steps, rates, and trends sit beside the language. Cost a wage proposal or check a comparator without rebuilding the grid in a spreadsheet from a scanned schedule.
Bargaining prep
Prepare path, shared bargaining book, memorandums, interest awards, and labour-board orders. The committee works from one baseline—same citations, same redlines (What Changed), same open items.
Casework and precedent
H&S and labour-board orders, and rights awards: documents, discussion, and notes on one file. Carry a settlement or award into the next round instead of losing it in a mailbox.
Ask the agreement
Ask the DB returns citation-backed answers from the PDF. Clause extracts are human-confirmed before they enter Compare, so the matrix stays a record you can stand on at the table.
Across Locals
Comparison is only half the work. When a clause is in dispute, a watch fires, or a round is underway, the people around the table need the same facts—and sometimes a peer who has already been there.
